(Area Overview) Waku Puyo Land Ruins

Waku Puyo Land was an amusement park, created with a mythical artifact called the "Space-time Crystal". However, behind the scenes, the crystal gained sentience thanks to a dark wizard's meddling. The crystal attained an identity, a physical form, but eventually met its demise. The crystal shattered, taking all that it built with it. The aftermath of the explosion left the entire amusement park in ruins. The attractions are in shambles, the plaza is in a depressingly sad state, and not a single person is left. The entire staff had either evacuated, or were wiped by the explosion.

If one were to explore, one could make out what establishments used to be here. The entrance arch is nothing but rubble, but one could tell where the general entrance is by the fallen green Puyo laden in the debris. This was the entrance to the first attraction, the Puyo Puyo Dungeon. Near the right of said rubble are the exposed metal foundations of the Information Booth, and the destroyed hut that used to be an Item Shop. At the four corners of Waku Puyo Land, four more attractions stood before the visitors, each associated with an element.

To the the southwest, the crumbled rock of Fire Mountain stood there. The torches that once decorate the entrance have now gone to disrepair, left in nothing but ash. The northwest is the Horror House, now in complete shambles. The north, the fallen Water Paradise; its pools of water now dried up. The northeast, the Wonder Jungle; now deforested and devoid of fauna. And finally, the southeast, the Starlight Stage; where light is no longer illuminated. All of the attractions are a shell of its former glory.

One could find the magic arrays that lead into the dungeons, but alas, they have been since rendered non-functional. The magic concentration, however, has surfaced to the main grounds, resulting in magical arrays of various effects taking form on the premises. Some may prove useful, but others may be harmful, so choose your magic arrays wisely and with caution.

While the monsters dwelling in the attractions have since been eliminated, this does not mean the ruins are devoid of them. Newer creatures have taken refuge in the fallen amusement park, though they are not of Code Red danger levels. One could find common Puyo wandering about, as well as the various common Madou World fauna. As such, the Waku Puyo Land Ruins has a Low to Moderate danger rating.

Curiously, the Ultimate Tower, the former housing place of the Space-time Crystal, is gone without a trace.

The Ultimate Tower's disappearance is currently undergoing investigation, as it's been marked a high-grade temporal anomaly.
