Character Synopsis: Ringo is a very curious girl from the modern world of Suzuran.  She's familiar with a decent technological standard, and a follower of the natural sciences.  She's inquisitive about many things including but not limited to the weird, yet she's a bit weird, too, since she may burst into blissful song on occasion.  She's a logic lover to the point that holes in said logic or reason trigger her.  Also, ghosts freak the frick out of her because that stuff is NOT scientific!

Headcanons: I see Ringo as someone that would teach those from other, more primitive worlds how to use technology in a very user-friendly fashion.  With all the time devoted to her studies, she may not have much time to find herself (in terms of orientation and love at the very least).  Perhaps this world can help her find out.  I imagine her as very quick to know cures, medicine, and treatment because chemistry and woo.  Probably first aid and those as well.  Aside from this, there's very little to report from my side.

Ringo was clever when she wanted to be, and she set a little easter egg.  Only now would she get around to telling Maguro about such things.  "Do you see this?"  Ringo posed her fingers such that her hand was arranged like she was casting Sine -- her index and middle fingers were outstretched as well as her thumb.  "This is what's referred to as Fleming's Right-hand Rule.  This finger is motion, this one is field, and this one is current," she said while wiggling her thumb, index, and middle respectively, "which are all three properties of electric generators.  This would be the inspiration for my motif!  Science a wonderful thing~.  It can even function in tandem with magic!"

Gimmick Style: Chain Attack.  Certain attacks will work with others to bring out Ringo's full potential.

Abilities

- [1] Sine

• [<12+1dTHM> Thaumaturgy attack, single-target.] A simple attack that arcs lightning towards the foe.  Reliable for the most part and will get potentially stronger as Ringo does.

- [2] Cosine

• [<0> Thaumaturgy attack, single-target.] A different kind of electricity that courses through the foe's nervous system upon contact, doing no immediate damage to them but certainly Slowing Down the target.  If the last ability used was Sine, the attack will Paralyze instead but have a cooldown of 1 turn.

- [3] Tangent

• [<1d8+HEAL> heal, single-target.] A rejuvenating magical electricity will restore the life and (potentially) nature of an ally.  Cooldown of 2 turns.  If the last two abilities used were Sine and Cosine in that order, choose one of the following effects, but the ability will have a cooldown of 4 turns instead:
•     Heal all allies instead of one ally.
•     Heal one ally, but also relieve two turns of a temporary effect on them that isn't being actively sustained (such as a grapple or active gag).
  

- [4] Derivative*

• [<14> Dexterity attack, single-to-multi-target.] Ringo calculates a path on which she can throw her apple heirloom and hit every enemy in the area.  She charges it up with some magical energy, takes aim, and hurls it in said path.  For every successful hit, it bounces off to another nearby enemy it has not yet hit, potentially able to hit all foes once.  Cooldown of (X-1) turns, where X is the amount of enemies hit.

- [5] Exponential*

• [Buff, single-target.] The target is enveloped in a faint blue aura, that enhances and becomes more electrically charged the more it's casted, to a limit of three times (effect will be listed as Lv.1/Lv.2/Lv.3).  The uses, if multiple, must all take place within the same turn, and the listed effects will then be given to the target for two turns.  Cooldown of X turns, where X is the amount of times used in one turn.
• Their Strength-, Dexterity-, and Thaumaturgy-related rolls will be given a +1/+2/+3.
• Their attack or healing values will be given an extra 20%/50%/100% power.
• They'll be immune to inflicted Slowdown/Paralysis/Slowdown and Paralysis, but will not be cured of it if they were already affected.  (That's what Setup Tangent is for, wink.)

- [6] Algorithm

• [<23> Strength attack, single-target.] Ringo grabs a preferred textbook from hammerspace and bashes a foe over the head with it.  Cooldown of 2 turns.  If you used Sine, Cosine, and Tangent last turn, she'll charge the textbook with starry electricity and the attack will deal an additional <1d20+THM> damage to the target as well as other nearby foes (and allies), but it must be the only action executed this turn, and the cooldown is extended by 3 turns to total 5.

(*Consider this a new spell.  I've made up the name; with some of these characters, that's probably going to become necessary the more abilities they get.)
