Character Synposis:
Maguro Sasaki is a Suzuran High School student who is a friend of Ringo Andou and Risukuma. He carries around a kendama with a puyo-themed ball on his hand and plays with it endlessly. He also uses it for Puyo matches as well.

His past is mostly unknown, but he is the eldest son of a fishmonger and lives in the Suzuran Shopping District alongside Ringo. Besides being skilled with kendamas, he also has skills in studying, cooking, and gaming.

He also has a quirky personality. He's rather strange and sarcastic, often talking in a smooth-cool manner and mostly calm. If he isn't though, he will panic like crazy. He also has a habit of ending his sentences with a star. (✮)

Headcanons:

• The reason why Maguro mostly hide his eyes is because he fears people will try to hurt him for it. At a young age, he is bullied by his classmates because of how he talks and socialize. One of them said that it's because of his eyes that shines beautifully, and at one point they starts trying to poke his eyes with dangerous objects. Since then, he never really wanted to show his eyes to public (Until he was forced to show it to some people, which gave him a surprise in Puyo Puyo 20th.) Mun's preferred eye color on Maguro is yellow.
  
• Maguro was introduced to kendamas by his father, and he's HOOKED into it. Ever since his father gave him a kendama for his 6th birthday, he endlessly plays with it. One day, he encountered his friend getting assaulted by a middle-aged man. Maguro hit the man with his kendama, until the man apologized and leave. Since that point, Maguro trusts his kendama as his primary weapon. (And of course, toy.)
  
• Maguro has allergies to cats since he was 10. Whenever a cat comes over to his fishmonger, he quickly ran upstairs and try to find help from his parents to get it away. Before that, though, he likes kitties and sometimes get scolded for bringing one to the fishmonger.

Writing Sample:
The breeze of Suzuran's winds hit his face, as Maguro strolls to the Suzuran High School in the morning from the shopping district. Holding his school bag, and his trusty kendama, he hummed a soft tune along the way. He looked around the scenery of the shops around him that is starting to unlock their doors. It is a normal sight in a time like this, at least in Maguro's thoughts it is.

"Hmm, looks like it's an another usual day in Suzuran. ✮" Maguro hummed out, as he starts playing around with his kendama while walking. "I should probably go and see Ringo and Risu at the club room first, but I have to run if I want to. But eh, they can wait~ ✮"

Abilities (6)

Ability 1: Swing-In: Maguro will swing his kendama forward and hit his target with the swinging ball. Just your ordinary kendama trick that mostly everyone can pull off. [Will do 12 damage to 1 target]

Ability 2: Lightning Fall: Maguro swings his kendama downwards, which apparently emits a small lightning spark from the ball. [Will do 18 damage to 1 target and will have a 20% chance of paralysis. Gives him a 2 turn cooldown.]

Ability 3: Butterfly Dance: Maguro will do some intense kendama tricks, not to intimidate his opponents, but to give himself a much more confident approach. [Will give him an additional +1 modifier to his STR and DEX rolls for 3 turns. Unfortunately, the kendama tricks he's doing kinda exhaust him a little, so he is given a 4 turn cooldown to properly use it again after the modifier buff effect fades out.]

Ability 4: Sidewinder: Maguro will swing his kendama around like a circle. This is Swing-In, but it can affect 3 targets instead. [Will do 15 damage to 3 targets. Gives him a 3 turn cooldown.]

Ability 5: Backhand Slip Grip Special: One can't balance a kendama up his head like Maguro does, even with a bowl cut! This is a AoE version of Butterfly Dance. [Will give an additional +2 modifier to his party and himself's STR and DEX rolls for 3 turns. This unfortunately punishes him with only able to use it once in a thread, so he cannot use it again after.]

Ability 6: Peregrine Falcon Turn: Maguro swings his kendama upwards, like your usual martial arts uppercut but more painful. Just look at how fast that ball swings to your opponent's chin! [Does a whopping 30 damage to one target, but will give him a 4 turn cooldown due to how powerful it is.]
