This beautiful school's puyo shaped domes will leave you wondering how the school afforded such an extravagant display. The explanation is that Primp's Magic School happens a mark of pride for the town, with many of its students proudly bearing the school's emblem on their clothes and many of the townsfolk chipping in to make sure that it never falls into disrepair or behind the times. It is often remodeled over the summer if for no other reason than to give students a fresh start feeling when they return. You probably wouldn't expect an isolated school to be very competitive in that regard, but you'd be mistaken. Primp's magic school is known for fostering a competitive environment between its own students in lieu of any other schools to compete with, pitting students against each other frequently in Puyo Puyo duels or 'quests' to test their mettle. Its secret is the teachers and the small class sizes that allow them to cater to every student's individual needs, often to the point that the learning material itself is catered to their abilities. The school's star teacher is the mysterious yet benevolent Ms. Accord, to whom many upcoming magicians owe their abilities. Unlike the schools of magic in the madou world, the Primp Town Magic School teaches students to pop puyos to fuel their spells. This has allowed some students who might otherwise have difficulty working with incantations to become respectable magicians in their own right while granting other more experienced magicians an alternative method of fueling their spells. While no one is entirely sure how puyos function and thus the nature and limitations of magic cast using them is sometimes rather chaotic and unpredictable, they are still able to match up to par with other more stable methods of spellcasting.
